Richard Purcell is a Critical Care Nurse and Senior Staff Nurse in charge of the Intensive Care Unit in the South building and secondary support to the Unit in the North building as and when required. Richard works in conjunction with the on-site intensivists and acts as a liaison between the patients, the nursing floors and the ICU, as well as a liaison between the lead consultants and their patients whilst they are in the ICU.
