Health and cancer screening
Screening is a way of testing people to see if a disease can be picked up early, which is when it has the best chance of being cured. Consultants who have held or currently hold posts at top NHS teaching hospitals have helped us develop our health screens for both individual and corporate customers. This expertise and investment in technology means HCA can offer the latest techniques and high standards of assessment.
Cancer screening aims to detect cancer at a very early stage, when there are no symptoms, or find changes in cells which could become cancerous if not treated. HCA currently offers cancer screening and awareness programmes for bowel, breast and prostate cancers.
HCA also offers rapid referral to diagnostic services when cancer is suspected.
Women's health (well-woman) services are offered at The Lister Hospital, The Portland Hospital and The Wellington Hospital.
The Princess Grace provides breast screening at The London Breast Institute.
